DNA 2 U Refunds & Cancelation Policy

1. Refund Policy

At DNA 2 U, refunds are subject to our discretion and specific conditions. Please review our policy carefully before purchasing a service.

  • No Refunds After Initiation: Refunds are not provided once a test has been initiated, performed, or if DNA kits or supplies have been shipped.

  • Appointment Cancellations: Canceling an appointment does not guarantee a refund.

  • No-Show Policy: Refunds are not guaranteed for no-call, no-show situations.

  • Rescheduling: Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled time. Each client is allowed one rescheduling opportunity.

  • Sample Recollection: If a sample recollection is necessary and the participant is unable or unwilling to comply, no refund will be issued; however, the test may be rescheduled.

  • Completion Time Estimates: Estimated completion times are provided during scheduling and confirmed at the time of testing. While results are typically delivered as expected, occasional delays may occur.

  • Mileage and Urgency Fees: Any mileage fees, urgency fees for same-day appointments, and additional party fees are non-refundable.

2. Cancellation Policy

We understand that scheduling conflicts may arise. However, to ensure smooth service, the following cancellation policies apply:

  • Advance Notice Required: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment to qualify for rescheduling.

  • Rescheduling Limit: Appointments can be rescheduled only once without penalty if notice is given at least 24 hours in advance.

  • No-Show Policy: Failure to appear for an appointment without prior cancellation will result in the full charge of the service fee, and **no refunds will be issued**.

  • Testing Location Restrictions: Clients are responsible for arranging a suitable testing location, as we are not permitted to conduct testing at a client’s residence.

  • Urgency and Same-Day Appointments: Same-day appointments are not guaranteed and are subject to staff availability. Urgency fees must be paid in full at the time of booking and are non-refundable.
