1. Introduction
Welcome to DNA 2 U. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Definitions

• "Company” refers to DNA 2 U.  

• “Services”refers to the DNA testing, analysis, and related offerings provided by DNA 2 U.  

• “User” refers to any individual or entity that accesses or uses our services.

3. Use of Services

• You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to use our services.

• You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when using our services.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.

• You agree not to misuse our services or engage in illegal activities through our platform.

• Refrain from eating, drinking, or using mouthwash for at least 30 minutes prior to testing.

• Only donors or clients are permitted at the testing site; please avoid bringing additional guests.

• It is your responsibility to arrange a suitable testing location.

• We are not permitted to conduct testing at a client’s residence.

4. Orders and Payments

• All purchases are subject to acceptance by DNA 2 U.

• Payment must be made in full before services are rendered.

• Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

• Refunds and cancellations are subject to our **Refund Policy.

5. Mileage Policy

• Standard Mileage Rate: A mileage fee of $0.70 per mile will be charged for travel beyond a 25-mile radius from the main office or service provider's location. Must be paid upfront.

• Extended Travel: For distances exceeding 50 miles, additional travel time may be billed at an hourly rate of $35.00 per hour. Must be paid upfront.

• Calculation: Mileage is calculated from the starting point to the appointment location and back to the starting point.

• Waivers: Mileage fees may be waived for bulk testing contracts or under special agreements.

6. Same Day Appointment Fees 

• Urgency Fee: An additional fee of $100.00 can be arranged for a same-day appointment, subject to availability.

• Booking Window: Same-day appointments must be booked at least 4 hours in advance.

• Availability: Same-day appointments are not guaranteed and are based on the availability of staff and resources.

• Payment: The urgency fee must be paid in full when booking.

7. Additional Parties

• Base Fee Coverage: The base testing fee includes up to two parties (e.g., one alleged father and one child).

• Additional Party Fee: For each additional party (e.g., another child, mother, etc.), an extra fee of $150.00 will be applied.

• Group Discounts: Discounts may be available for testing more than three additional parties. Contact our office for a customized quote.

• Documentation: All parties must provide valid identification and consent forms before testing.

8. Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy

• Refunds at DNA 2 U are subject to our discretion and may include administrative and handling fees.

• Refunds are not provided once a test has been initiated, performed, or if DNA kits or supplies have been shipped.

• Canceling an appointment does not guarantee a refund.

• Refunds are not guaranteed for no-call, no-show situations.

• Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled time. Each client is allowed one rescheduling opportunity.

• If a sample recollection is necessary and the participant is unable or unwilling to comply, no refund will be issued; however, the test may be rescheduled.

• Estimated completion times are provided during scheduling and confirmed at the time of testing. While results are typically delivered as expected, occasional delays may occur.

 

9. Privacy and Data Protection

• Your use of our services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your data.

10. Accuracy of Information

• DNA 2 U strives to provide accurate results; however, we do not guarantee 100% accuracy due to external factors such as sample contamination or testing limitations.

11. Limitation of Liability

• DNA 2 U is not responsible for any decisions made based on test results.

• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

• The maximum liability of DNA 2 U for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the service.

12. Intellectual Property

• All content, trademarks, and services provided by DNA 2 U remain our exclusive property.

• Users may not copy, distribute, or exploit any part of our services without prior written consent.

13. Termination of Service

• DNA 2 U reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to services for users who violate these Terms and Conditions.

14. Disputed Transaction Policy 

• Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration.

• Users waive the right to class-action lawsuits or jury trials.

• No Disputed Transactions: No disputed transactions will be honored once a purchase is made. Once payment is processed and services are rendered, clients agree that any disputes regarding transactions will not be accepted. We encourage clients to communicate any concerns directly with our team for prompt resolution,

• ​Dispute Resolution: By making a purchase, you acknowledge and agree that DNA 2 U does not honor disputed charges. All sales are final, and refunds will not be issued. Any disputes regarding this charge will be contested in accordance with our no-refund policy.​

15. Governing Law

• These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of North Carolina.

16. Changes to Terms

• DNA 2 U reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
